Description: The museum features historical perspectives on Ashland city and county, including industry and family life. The museum also has the second largest insect collection in the U.S. Research Room also available for scholars with local interests.
One-Time Volunteer Opportunities: Inventory projects, data entry, building or repairing a display area, helping with an event like Christmas decorations or an open house.
On-Going Volunteer Opportunities: Giving tours, donors numbering, cleaning and maintenance, yard work.
Service Learning Opportunities: Streetscape gives great material for history or education majors. Insects would be great for biologie or related fields.
Training/Other Requirements Needed: An interest in presentation.
Directions from Ashland University: College Avenue to Center Street. Go through light at Walnut. The building is on the left between Walnut and Washington Street.
