Description: The Wilderness Center is open to various organizations who want to have fun while spending time in the great outdoors. The Wilderness Center strives to protect our native wildflowers and natural areas. OVer 15,000 children are taught in our educational program each year.

 

One-Time Volunteer Opportunities: Remove exotic plants, collect seeds, transplant native plants, clear brush, birdseed sale

 

On-Going Volunteer Opportunities: Same as one-time opportunities or schedule and create your own community service project, docents to teach nature program, office and bookstore volunteers

 

Service Learning Opportunities: Not Available

 

Training/Other Requirements Needed: Train with experienced Docents, handbook of Educational materials
