Description: ABLE is a literacy program to help people obtain their GED's, basic skills review, workplace and family literacy, and/or life skills training.  Services offered include individual and small group teaching in all areas.  Individual plans are written for each student depending on his/her goals and present skill levels. English as a second language is also offered.  Anyone 18 or older, or 16-17 years old and have formally dropped out of school (with papers signed) are eligible.

One-time Volunteer Opportunities: Record keeping

On-going Volunteer Opportunities: Tutoring students in various ABLE programs, working with students on the computer, or helping then improve English language skills

Training/Other Requirements Needed: ABLE will train all volunteers
