Description: Heartland Home provides caring, effective, affordable, residential care to the residents of Ashland County and to also provide care to the indigent in the county who are in need of assisted living. Twenty-four hour nursing services including supervision and assisting with medication, activities of daily living, transportation, meals are offered. Ages 20-100; primarily geriatrics, some mentally handicapped and some mentally retarded residents are eligible.
One-Time Volunteer Opportunities: Fall cleaning, spring cleaning, anytime cleaning projects, painting
On-Going Volunteer Opportunities: One-on-one with residents, letter writing, bingo, assisting with field trips
Service Learning Opportunities:
Training/Other Requirements Needed: An ability to enjoy people and converse with them
