Description:  The purpose of the library is to select, maintain, and make available to the public, those resources, in a variety of formats, which serve the educational, informational, recreational, and cultural needs of the people.

 

One-time Volunteer Opportunities:  Help with book sale held in May

 

On-going Volunteer Opportunities:  Book delivery to homebound patrons, once every 4 weeks; volunteer in circulation, children's section, technical services, and adult/AV OR volunteer one hour, once a week to work 1-on1 with adults who want to improve their reading skills (contact Mary Anne at 521-3114 if interested)

 

Service Learning Opportunities: Not Available

 

Training/Other Requirements Needed:  Filing, typing, and basic clerical duties. For literacy program there are two introductory training sessions and continuous on-the-job training

 

Directions from Ashland University: Follow 42S into Mansfield, turn right onto N. Diamond, left onto 3rd Street go 2-3 blocks.  Library is on the left (enter parking lot by turning left on Mulberry).
