What is PROUD?
Partners Reaching Out for Ultimate Development
(PROUD) is a mentor program that was brought to the Ashland University campus in January 1993. This program pairs Ashland University students with at-risk youth
from the Ashland City Schools. The one-on-one contact established with the youth promotes self-esteem and improved academic achievements. Volunteers must apply and be interviewed in order to be a PROUD mentor.
