Ashland University Announces Its New TESOL Endorsement
Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages
More than 39,000 English language learners or students with limited English proficiency were enrolled in Ohio’s elementary and secondary
schools in 2010-2011. These students represent more than 110 different native or home languages. How well prepared are you to meet the learning needs of this growing population of students?

- Gives you opportunities to have a positive, lasting impact on the lives of immigrant and native-born children and youth.
The TESOL Endorsement program is designed to be completed in one year or less and can be added to any Ohio license. Classes are
offered in online and hybrid formats.
