National Italian American Foundation Scholarship

National Italian American Foundation Scholarship has an education budget of $1,000. They will award scholarships and grants to outstanding students in the summer for use during the following academic year. These are for undergrads, graduates and doctorate programs. The awards will be made on the basis of academic merit and divided between two groups of students. Category I: Italian American students who demonstrate outstanding potential and high academic achievements. Area of study is open. Category II: Those students from any ethnic background majoring or minoring in Italian language, Italian studied, Italian American studies or a related field, who demonstrate outstanding potential and high academic achievements. Scholarships awards range from $2,000-$5,000. Applications are available only on their website at www.niaf.org/Scholarships. Deadline is April 30.
