Spencer Foundation Dissertation Fellowship for Research Related to
Education- some 30 Fellowships of $20,000 are awarded each year to
support doctoral candidates in a variety of fields whose dissertations
promise to contribute fresh perspectives to the history, theory, or
practice of education. Phone or mail requests for application materials
must be received by September 23, 2002. Applications may also be
downloaded from the Foundations web site www.spencer.org
until October. Application materials must be submitted by mail and
