- AKRON CITY HOSPITAL SCHOOL OF NURSING ENDOWED SCHOLARSHIP
The Akron City Hospital School of Nursing Alumni Association Endowed Scholarship was established at Ashland University in 1999 to continue the legacy of academic excellence and community service established through Akron City Hospital School of Nursing.
- CAROL J. CHRISMAN ENDOWED NURSING SCHOLARSHIP
The Carol J. Chrisman Memorial Endowed Scholarship was established in 1993 through a bequest by Dr. Carol Chrisman, former Dean of the School of Nursing. The available income from the fund is awarded annually to a full-time or part-time student in the Department of Nursing. Selection preference is given as follows: registered nurses currently or formerly employed in public health within the Ashland County/City Health Department, then to nurses currently or formerly employed in the community health sector.
- ELLA KICK ENDOWED SCHOLARSHIP
The Ella Kick Endowed Scholarship was established in 1999 by Ella Kick, her family, friends, and colleagues in recognition of her 50 years of service to the field of nursing. Dr. Kick served as Dean of the Ashland University Department of Nursing from 1994-1997.
