FBI/BCI Criminal Background Checks

     The Ashland University Safety Services Department is available to do fingerprinting for criminal background checks. Fingerprinting is done electronically and prints can be sent to the FBI and/or the Ohio Bureau of Criminal Identification. To schedule an appointment, please call Ashland University Safety Service at (419) 207-5555. Fingerprinting is typically scheduled Monday through Friday 1:00 p.m. to 3:45 p.m. The cost is $27 for BCI, $29 for FBI, and $55 if you are being printed for both. A valid driver’s license (or state issued photo identification from the BMV) is required. Cash and checks are the only available forms of payment.
