The world today’s high school students live in will change dramatically in the future. While today the US has the largest economy in the world, it is likely that before today’s students retire from the work force, they will find that the economy of China, and possibly India, may be larger than that of the US. The reality of this needs to be understood today so that our students and our country can prepare for that reality, and take the right steps to ensure our prosperity of the future.
