How to Pre-schedule Interviews

Step 1:

When the pre-scheduled interview registration process begins, click on Student Login/Register.  Then enter your e-mail and password that you previously established and click on Login.

Step 2:

Click on My Resume to upload your resume. You will not be able to schedule any interviews until your resume is uploaded. Please note: Your resume will be reviewed by an Education Expo staff member and if it is not of professional quality, you will be contacted. If you fail to submit a professional resume by the date given, your interviews will be cancelled. You are encouraged to use the services of your Career Services office prior to registering for Education Expo to ensure your resume is of high quality.

Employers will be given a copy of your resume the morning of the job fair.  Be sure to still bring extra copies of your resume to the fair - both for employers with whom you have pre-scheduled interviews, as well as those you would like to meet at the Open Fair on the morning of the job fair.

DO NOT upload a cover letter with your resume.  Employers will only receive your resume on the morning of the fair.

Step 3:

Click on Attendee List link to review the list of school districts attending.

You are able to sort the school districts in many ways:

Alphabetical

School Districts Seeking Your Licensure Area

Registration Date

City

State

Detailed information about each school district is also available by switching from Basic List to Detailed List.

The #PS column indicates the number of interviews the school district wants to have pre-scheduled prior to the fair.  If the number is "0" then you will only be able to schedule interviews at the Open Fair on the day of the job fair.

Click the box on the right side of the screen for the schools you want to interview with to determine what time slots are available. Then click View Interview Slots.   Remember, you are able to pre-schedule up to 5 interviews and can schedule more at the Open Fair on the day of the event.

Step 4:

Click on the buttons for the time you want to interview with each school district.  Once you have chosen the interviews times you would like for each school, click on Save Changes.  Use Reset Interview Schedule to change your schedule.

If no buttons are showing, it means the school has chosen to only schedule interviews on the day of the job fair during the Open Fair, or all interview slots have already been taken by other candidates.

Step 5:

After you click on Save Changes, your interview schedule for the day will appear.  Be sure to print your schedule and bring it with you on the day of the Job Fair.  If you wish to change your schedule, click on Edit Times.  If you schedule an interview and then give it up, realize that it is again open for someone else to take.
