Junior Recital: Janet Arnkomah, clarinet and Katie Vargo, soprano

Ashland University Department of Music presents a junior recital featuring Janet Ankomah, clarinet and KatieVargo, soprano. Free & Open to the Public.  The music education majors perform with support from pianist Pavlina Draganova, and vocalists Sam Diemer, Jordan Black, Derek Jackenheimer, Matthew Dawson, and John Fielding.

Janet, a graduate of Mansfield Senior High School (Mansfield, OH), will perform three movements from Melvin Solomon's Etudes to Spring (The Squirrel, The Duck and On the Road and Finale) along with Mozart's Adagio from Concerto for Clarinet, and Gaetano Donizetti's Concerto in B Major.

A graduate of Riverside High School (Painesville, OH), Katie will present a wide range of vocal selections from Mozart's "Un moto di gioja" to Irving Berlin's "Blue Skies" and Billy Joel's "Lullaby."
