The Ashland University women's basketball team has advanced to the NCAA Division II National Championship game and will play Shaw (N.C.) in the final game Friday at 8 pm EST. The Eagles reached that game with a 77-62 victory over Bentley University. This was the 33rd straight win for Ashland University This will be the Eagles first ever appearance in the national championship game.
On campus, the Friday night game will be shown in the Student Center Auditorium, Student Center Eagles' Nest, Schar College of Education Room 103, and on the wall in Kates Gymnasium. Again, please bring folding chairs or blankets for the gym venue.
