The Center for Religious Life at Ashland University is pleased to invite you to Christian Activities Day on March 30, 2012. This opportunity offers high school students the opportunity to visit the campus of Ashland University, to experience university life, and to learn about the full range of campus ministry programs the Center of Religious Life has to offer. High school students who attend Christian Activities Day will be able to talk to a student panel about college life, eat in the student food court, receive a personally guided tour of the campus, attend the Tenth Avenue North and Rend Collective Experiment, spend a night in student housing, and hear a short presentation from an Ashland University Admission representative.
The Center of Religious Life at Ashland University offers a strong Christian community with incredible Christian activities, offering multiple weekly worship services, small group discipleship, domestic and overseas mission trips, and many, many more specialized ministries. Ashland University is not a Christian college, but rather a University that operates on Christian values. This added bonus means students have the opportunity to live the Christian life in the real-world context of a comprehensive university. As one student described it, “I don’t want to be put in a box; but I kind of want a “box” [of Christian support] around me.”
To register, go to www.ashland.edu and click on "Christian Activities Day" in the list of visit opportunities. Deadline to register is Friday, March 23, 2012.
