Ashland-New Photography Juried Exhibition

The Ashland New Photography exhibition includes 14 local artists: Tom Hart, Paul Keske, Linda Goodman, Betty Laird Perry, Heidi Weller, Diane Kaye, Devon Brabener, Mary Jean Ferretti, Phyllis Frey, Marv Neubig, Cheryl Bartley, Nancy Booth, and Rodney Michael.

In the young artists category, accepted artists include Ameila Soergel age 12, Clara Kral age 10 and Andie Osborne age 12.

An opening reception will be held on Friday, June 29th, from 6 to 7 p.m., with photography awards announced at 6:20 p.m. This exhibition, which will run from June 29 through July 31, 2012, will culminate in a collection of works that that highlight the artistic endeavors of Ashland county residents.

The juror for the New Photography exhibition was Jessica Maloney who received her BFA in Fine Art Photography and MFA in Digital Fine Art from Bowling Green State University in Bowling Green, Ohio and is a tenured Associate Professor at Ashland University as well as maintaining an active role as a professional artist.

The gallery is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday and 12 noon to 4 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday and is free and open to the public. For more information about the opening reception or the exhibition, call 419.289.5652 or visit us on Facebook.
