Dr Jack D. Harpool, Professional Instructor of Accounting and IS joined the Ashland University in 2008. He is an accomplished author in the area of Information Systems and Design, having written numerous college level textbooks used nationally and internationally. He has served as a consultant both to the Federal Government and to commercial business. He has worked as a Plans and Operations Information Technology Consultant to the Pentagon, working for the Undersecretary of the US Army, Department of Defense. As a Senior Project Manager to a Fortune 500 company, he was responsible for implementing Hospital and Long Term Care Management Information Systems. He is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP).
