Dr. Andrew V. Greene, associate professor of Biology, joined Ashland University in 2006. His areas of expertise include chronobiology, molecular biology, and fungal biology. He received his Ph.D. in microbiology from Texas A&M University and his B.S. in Microbiology from The Ohio State University.

Under my supervision, students engage in research activities focusing on the identification of proteins involved in circadian rhythms in the fungus Aspergillus nidulans, as well as the identification and enumeration of bacterial contaminants in blended and unblended honey.
