Matthew L. Arthur, Ph.D., is Professor of Chemistry (B.S. University of New Mexico 1976; Ph.D. New Mexico State University 1984). He teaches courses in general and inorganic chemistry and has delivered inservice programs and intensive (15-30 hours) workshops in science education for K-12 teachers. In addition, he has directed Chemistry Can Be Fun Camp, a science camp for middle-grades students for 20 years. These programs have been supported by grants from the Ohio Board of Regents, Project Discovery, and the Dr. Scholl Foundation, as well as by affiliate grants from the Miami University TOYS program and the Institute for Chemical Education (ICE).
