Dr. Amy Klinger, associate professor of educational administration, joined the Ashland University faculty in 2008. Her areas of expertise include school safety and security issues, crisis planning, and school violence, along with issues pertaining to the principalship. She received her Doctor of Educational Administration from The University of Toledo, along with her Education Specialist Degree, Gifted Education validation, Master's in Curriculum and Instruction, and Bachelor's in Secondary Education. Dr. Klinger has worked as a teacher, central office administrator, and principal at both the elementary and secondary levels and has over 20 years of experience in public education.
