Dr. Jill Lynch is an associate professor in the department of educational foundations. In this role she teaches courses in qualitative research and curriculum studies in the graduate education program. Dr. Lynch examines urban education from an anthropological framework with a particular focus on teacher effectiveness, distributed leadership practices, and the strategic engagement of youth voices in school improvement discourses. Dr. Lynch earned an undergraduate certification from Ohio State University, an M.A. from University of Massachusetts-Boston, and a Ph.D. from Ohio State University.
