Dr. Mary Ball holds a Ph.D. in Foreign/Second Language Education from the Ohio State University, an M.A. in French Literature from Kent State University, an M.A.T. from the School for International Training in French and English as a Second Language, and a B.A. in French Literature from Heidelberg College. She has taught language courses in English as a Second Language and French and courses in teacher education. Her research interests are in language teacher education and in francophone studies, particularly in Québec and the Caribbean.
