Dr. Donna Villareal, Assistant Professor of Inclusive Services & Exceptional Learners, joined Ashland University in 2008. She was an Intervention Specialist and English as a Second Language teacher before that, working at the Columbus City Schools' Spanish Immersion Academy and the Dresden International School, Germany. She obtained a bachelor of arts degree in Spanish from Catholic University of America, a master of arts degree in Multicultural Education from Akron University, and a Ph.D. in Special Education and Applied Behavior Analysis from the Ohio State University.
