Dr. Richard (Robby) Roberson is an associate professor teaching classes primarily for the Hospitality Management program. He holds a PhD in Hospitality and Tourism Management from Purdue University. Prior to entering academia, Dr. Roberson worked extensively in the hospitality industry. He has worked as a chef for many restaurants, a number of resorts, several different national parks and owned his own business. Some of the classes he teaches include food safety and sanitation, beverage management, casino and gaming management and event planning.
