Andrew E. Busch is Professor of Government at Claremont McKenna College. He holds a Ph.D. in government from the University of Virginia. He is the author of Reagan's Victory: The Presidential Election of 1980 And the Rise of the Right (2005), The Front-loading Problem in Presidential Nominations, with William G. Mayer (2003), and The Perfect Tie: The True Story of the 2000 Presidential Election, with James W. Ceaser (2001).
