Dr. Louis A. Mancha, Jr. has been at Ashland University since the Fall of 2003. He is an assistant professor of Philosophy, specializing in Medieval and Early Modern Philosophy, and Philosophy of Religion. He is the advisor for both the Philosophy Club and the Ohio Mu chapter of Phi Sigma Tau, the national Philosophy honorary. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Rice University, and both his MA and PhD. from Purdue University.
