Scott Chapman

Scott joins the Department of Theatre directly from the University of Wisconsin-Stout where he was the Lighting & Scenic Designer/Technical Director, teaching courses in Stagecraft and Scenic Design, Introduction to Theatre, Theatre Practicum, Contemporary Theatre, Introduction to Stage Management, Lighting, and Theatre Appreciation. Awards include the Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival – Region II Scenic Design Award and Barbizon Alternate in 2004. He received his M.F.A. in Stage Design from Southern Methodist University and his B.A. in Theatre Design/Technology from the University of Buffalo. As a Professional Scenic/Lighting Designer, Scott has worked with Directors such as Ken Kay, Gail Garrisan, Stan Wojewodski, Greg Leaming, Henry Woronicz, Gustavo Tambascio, and Lynne Kurdziel-Formato.
