Sarah Russell received a Master of Fine Arts in Costume Design from Kent State University and a Bachelor of Music in Music Education from Bowling Green State University. She came to Ashland University from Allegheny College in Meadville, Pennsylvania where she taught courses in Introduction to Costume Design, Stage Makeup, Costume Crafts, Costume Rendering Techniques, and Introduction to Sewing. She is a freelance Costume Designer and has designed regionally throughout northeastern Ohio and northwestern Pennsylvania.
