What is Service Learning?

Service Learning is the application of classroom knowledge to meet needs in the surrounding community. Currently, Ashland University uses the "Plus-One" Credit Option and Integrated Service Learning in our service learning efforts. Juliet Thomas, the Director of the Center for Community Service, coordinates this effort on our campus and would love to talk with you more about this option.
