What is the placement assessment like?

WebCape is a commonly used assessment in U.S. colleges and universities. It is a multiple-choice assessment of reading, vocabulary, and grammar. There is no time limit, but it will probably take you about 20 minutes. It is computer adaptive. That is, it selects the next set of questions based on your success on previous questions. At the end, it will tell you your score. Please note it for your records. The FL Department and Academic Advising will also receive score reports.
