Question:
How do I know where to begin?
The Foreign Languages at Ashland University
Foreign Language Placement
Ashland University students may fulfill or partially fulfill their GPS institutional graduation requirement with the study of foreign languages:
- with two semesters of a language not previously studied – begin in SPAN 171 or FREN 151;
- through completion of Intermediate II level of foreign language; or
- through the value added option – the course indicated by placement. Value added courses are SPAN 172, 271 & 272 and FREN 152, 252 & 252.
