Insurance: What is Included?

Accident Insurance
- All full-time undergraduates are covered by an Accident Policy
- First $2,000 of expenses are paid prior to deductible. This includes all accidents (on or off campus)
Major Medical (optional)
- Ashland University contracts with Commercial Travelers to provide the opportunity for major medical insurance for any full-time undergraduates. The cost for this is included in the student's tuition bill. Those who wish to waive this option may do so through Student Accounts or online at: www.studentplanscenter.com
- $100 annual deductible
- Basic benefits of $300 for outpatient expenses when referred by Ashland University Student Health Center (x-rays, lab tests, etc).
- 80% - 20% coverage after deductible
Maximum payments up to $75,000
