Question:
If I submit an abstract, is it guaranteed to be accepted for presentation?
No. Your abstract will be reviewed for acceptance by a faculty committee after submission. Your abstract must first be approved by a faculty sponsor prior to submission; failure to do so will result in rejection of your abstract.
Additionally, as your abstract will be published in an abstract booklet, it will be expected to be written in a professional manner, using proper grammar, punctuation and spelling. Your abstract must also contain a significant academic or creative component, such as original research, thesis work, term papers, and literary analysis. In addition, we welcome you to read original literature, exhibit artwork, or to give a musical or theatrical performance.
