Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) The FAFSA must be completed and submitted to the federal processor by all students who wish to receive federal student loans. The priority date for submission of the FAFSA is April 30 for graduate students to receive aid for the following academic year. Use the AU Title IV code -- 003012 -- to have your Student Aid Report sent electronically to Ashland University.
Summer Loan Application (Apply Online)
Stafford Loans are available for students who plan to enroll at least half-time in the Summer Session. Students who have not completed a FAFSA must complete one to receive a Stafford Loan for the Summer Session. In addition, all students who wish to receive a loan for the Summer Session must complete the Summer Loan application. Students who wish to obtain a private education loan must also complete this application in addition to applying to the lender of their choice.
Fall/Spring Bachelor's Plus/Teacher Licensure Loan Application (Apply online)
Ashland University students enrolled for at least 6 hours in the Bachelor's Plus Program, teacher certification or teacher endorsement programs are eligible for the Federal Stafford Loan. Students who are enrolled less than half-time in any program or who are seeking principal, superintendent or other administrative licensure may apply for private education loans. Students who are applying for either the Federal Stafford Loan or a private education loan must complete an AU Loan Application for Graduate/Post-Baccalaureate Students prior to each academic year. 2008-09 Special Conditions Form (pdf)
The Special Conditions Form is available to families whose current financial situation differs significantly from the financial data submitted on the most recent FAFSA due to extraordinary circumstances such as unemployment, divorce, large medical expenses, etc. Appropriate documentation of the condition must be submitted with the form and the Financial Aid Office must be notified if the financial situation improves during the ye

selected, the graduate student must complete this worksheet and
submit signed copies of his/her current year tax forms (and spouse’s
tax form if married and filing separately) before a federal loan
can be processed.
