Loans For Bachelor Plus/Teacher Licensure Students
The following loan programs are available to provide Bachelor's Plus/Teacher Licensure students with assistance to pay for their Ashland University education:
Federal Stafford Loans
Students who are enrolled at least half-time (6 credit hours per term) in the following programs are eligible to apply for Federal Stafford Loans through AU's participation in the Federal Family Education Loan Program:
- Bachelor's Plus Program
- Teacher Licensure/Certification Programs
- Reading, EEHC, Technology or Gifted Education Endorsement Programs
NOTE: According to federal regulations, students in the Graduate Certification Program seeking principal, superintendent or other administrative licensure are not eligible for Federal Stafford Loans.

Private Education Loans
Private education loans are available for the following students:
- who are enrolled less than half-time in any program
- who have reached the maximum federal loan limit for the Bachelor's Plus, teacher licensure/certification or eligible endorsement programs
- who are seeking principal, superintendent or other administrative licensure
