The award is up to $4,000 per year with a maximum of $16,000 for an undergraduate degree and $8,000 for a graduate degree. IMPORTANT NOTE: If the recipient does not fulfill the requirements of the Agreement to Serve, the entire TEACH Grant received converts into a Federal Direct Unsubsidized Stafford Loan, with interest retroactive to the date the grant was disbursed.

  • Plan to teach as a highly qualified teacher for four years within the eight years immediately following completion of the degree

* To qualify based on your ACT/SAT results, you must score in the 75th percentile on any subtest of the ACT or SAT. If you qualify for the TEACH Grant based on your ACT/SAT scores, you are eligible to receive TEACH funds over the course of your study, providing you meet other program requirements.
