Accountancy Board of Ohio-
The Education Assistance Program has been established to provide
scholarships to students who are enrolled in the 5th
year of an accounting education program at an Ohio academic institution
that are approved by the Accountancy Board of Ohio. Students may
apply beginning in their sophomore year. Information to apply

Adult Learner Program Scholarships
There are three scholarships each for $1,000 (October
15 deadline) and $5,000 (April 15 deadline).
The Adult Learner Scholarship for ages 25 and above is for individuals
pursuing their first bachelors degree or an associate degree in
a two or four year program. The Adult Learner Scholarship for ages
19-24 is for students who are currently employed and pursuing an
associate degree or certificate in a one to two year occupation
career program.
American Advertising Federation-Cleveland's Education Foundation - The Advertising Federation is please to announce the availability of more than $190,000 in scholarships. To be eligible a student must: 1)Be an Ohio resident qualifying for in-state tuition at an Ohio college or university; 2) Be pursuing a bachelor's degree with a communications/amarketing-related major; 3) Carry a full course-load and hold a current minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher (4.0 scale); 4) Currently be in his/her senior or junior year (graduating between 2009 and 2010). Applications are due no later than Friday, October 17, 2008. Finalists will be notified in November and are required to attend an in-person interview with the AAF-Cleveland Scholarship Committee during winter break. Advertising Federation of Fort Wayne - INDIANA STUDENTS: The Advertising Federation of fort Wayne, Inc. is please to announce the availability of $1000 - $1500 scholarships to be awarded to full-time students (minimum of 12 credit hours per semester) who are registered in any advertising related programs for the academic year. In addition, eligible students must maintain permanent residence in the areas served by the Advertising Federation of Fort Wayne, Inc. The area is limited to the following Indiana counties: Adams, Allen, Dekalb, Huntington, Koseiusko, LaGrange, Noble steuben, Wabash, Wells, and Whitley. The Jennings Foundation Post-Baccalaureate Teacher Certification Scholarship is for students who already have a BA/BS degree and are pursuing teacher certification/licensure only or in conjunction with a Masters degree in education. A GPA of 2.5 and a minimum of 6 credit hours per term are required. Applications are available at www.cspohio.org. The deadline is April 15 of each year.
AGC
- Associated General Contractors of America, Inc $1,000
Scholarships for 18 individual recipients. The scholarships are
open to students pursuing construction-related degrees. Applications
are due January 31. For applications and additional information,

AGM Scholarship Program
will award several scholarships in the amount of $1,000 each for
the academic year and they will be available to individuals who
are actively seeking a golf merchandising career, are currently
attending an accredited college, university or technical institute,
who maintain a 2.5 GPA or higher, and who have completed their sophomore
year. Applications and further guidelines are available in the
Financial Aid Office. Deadline is April 16.
Air Force Scholarships-You
must be a U.S. Citizen enrolled or accepted for enrollment in an
approved school of medicine or osteopathy. The scholarship pays
full tuition and all required fees. This includes reimbursement
for textbooks, small equipment items and supplies needed for study.
Youll also receive a monthly allowance for living expenses. You
are obligated to serve four years or three years in the service
after your internship depending on the number of years you had the
scholarship. In addition, during the scholarship period, youll
spend 45 days each year on active duty. Contact a recruiter at

American Advertising Federation -
American
Association for Health Education - AAHE offer several
scholarships from $500 to $3,000. Go to their web site for further

American Association
of University Women Wooster Branch of AAUW Scholarships
are awarded to assist women in attaining a four-year college degree,
which will enable them to compete in the job market and be economically
independent. To be eligible, candidates must be Wayne County residents
enrolled or planning to enroll in a degree program. Applications

American Business Womens
Association Scholarship is available to sophomores, juniors
and seniors. Applications can be obtained in the Financial Aid

American Cancer Society
provides a scholarship opportunity exclusively for students with
a history of cancer. Last year, through the statewide fundraising
efforts of Relay For Life, ninety $1,000. Scholarships were awarded
to Ohio students pursuing higher education. Applicants may attend
a school anywhere in the United States. Applications are available

American
Chemical Society the goal of this scholarship program
is to aid in building an awareness of the value and rewards associated
with careers in science and to assist students in acquiring skills
and credentials needed for success in these areas. The scholarship
is designed to encourage African-American, Hispanic, and Native
American students to pursue undergraduate college degrees in the

The American Scholars
National Honor Society-There will be scholarships totaling

Italiani Scholarship - Must be Wayne County, Ohio resident,

an undergraduate degree program at an accredited post secondary

Students this program supports minority accounting students
at the undergraduate level and in several specific graduate programs.

Ohio Chapter Soil & Water Conservation Society
- Must be an Ohio resident. Enrolled at an Ohio college or university
in the fall pursuing a two or four year degree in a 'natural
resources conservation' related program. Recipient must attend an
Ohio college or university. The scholarship award is for $1,000
and will be processed through the scholarship or student aid office
and will be available for use during the recipients next academic
year. The scholarship recipient will be invited to attend the summer
meeting of the All Ohio Chapter, as its guest, to be recognized.

The Annual Ayn Rands Essay Contest-Entrants
must be a full-time undergraduate student. The first place winner
will receive a cash award of $10,000, there will be three second
place winners who will receive $2,000, and five third place winners

Avon Women's Club - The purpose of this scholarship is to assist and encourage women returning to college in an effort to reach their educational goals. Barry
M. Goldwater Scholarship - Students interested in a
career in mathematics, the natural sciences, or engineering are
invited to apply. The Foundation will award scholarships to students
who will be college juniors or senior during the 2006-2007 academic
year. In order to be considered for an award, the students must
be nominated by their institution. Scholarship award covers eligible
expenses up to a maximum of $7,500 per year. Junior scholarship
recipients can expect to receive a maximum of two years of support.
Seniors are eligible for a maximum of one year of support. Student
must be a current full-time sophomore or junior and must be pursuing
a baccalaureat degree, have a B average or equivalent, stand in
the upper fourth of the class, and be a U.S. citizen, permanent
resident, or U.S. national, who will pursue a career in mathematics,

Benjamin A. Gilman International
Scholarship - The Institute of International Education
(IIE) is now accepting applications. Sponsored by the U.S. Department
of State, Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs and administered
by IIE through its Southern Regional Center, this program enables
students who have limited financial means the opportunity to participate
in study abroad opportunities worldwide. The program provides awards
of up to $5,000 for U.S. citizen undergraduate students at two-
and four-year institutions to pursue country-based semester or academic-year
long study abroad opportunities. To be eligible students must be
receiving a Federal Pell Grant at the time of application and cannot
be studying abroad in a country currently under a U.S. Department

BPW/Ohio Florence Allen Endowment Fund
are awarded annually by the BPW/Ohio Florence Allen Endowment
Fund to provide Ohio women with the opportunity to achieve their
full potential through education. Scholarships funds are for the
academic year and may; be used for courses at 4-year colleges and
universities, Post High School Vocational/Technical Schools, and
Community Colleges. In addition to recent high school graduates,
these scholarships are targeted to those re-entering the job market,
embarking on a new career field, or updating career skills. Applications

Campus Door will be awarding $100,000 in scholarships during the

The Central Ohio Mineral,
Fossil, Gem and Jewelry Show will offer a scholarship
for the 2007-2008 school year to a deserving student of the earth
sciences. It holds an annual minimum of $1,000. This Gem and Jewelry
Show is an annual show held in the spring in Columbus, Ohio, and
its purpose is to educate the general public and promote the encouragement
of careers in the earth sciences. Students must be a junior, senior,
fifth year, or graduate student majoring in geology or earth science
education. Student must also be an Ohio resident. Applications

The College Club of Canton-Ruth Wolter Graduate Award
Loan-The College Club of Canton is offering interest free loans
unless defaulted for women who are within eighteen months of completing
a graduate degree, advanced study and/or research from the date
the loan in granted. The applicant must be a citizen of the U.S.,
a resident of Stark County, show career motivation, demonstrate
financial need, demonstrate academic excellence, maturity, and seriousness

Cotillion Society
of Cleveland Candidates should be incoming freshmen from
the greater Cleveland area, with good scholastic records and promise

The Council
on Library and Information Resources has established a
fellowship to honor A.R. Zip, a pioneer in information management
systems. The fellowship will be awarded annually to a student currently
enrolled in graduate school, in the early stages of study, who shows
exceptional promise for leadership and technical achievement in

any student attending, or planning to attend, a Datatel client college
or university, or working at a Datatel non-education client site

Veteran, or refugee from Cambodia, Laos, or Vietnam during the 1964-1975

Delta Kappa
Gamma-Beta Gamma Chapter Scholarship This $500 is open
to college juniors or seniors preparing to enter the field of education
at any level, preschool, elementary, secondary and college level.
Applicants must be residents of Lorain County and/or must have graduated
from any high school located in Lorain County, Ohio. Applicant must
have completed at least two years of college by June 2008 and must
be enrolled in a college or university in September 2007 to complete
their studies in the fields of education. Applications can be

Delta Phi Chapter of the Delta kappa Gamma Society International
is offering two $1000 scholarships to qualified education majors.

September 11 Scholarship Alliance
provides education assistance for post-secondary study to members
of families impacted by the events of September 11, 2001. Applicants
must be dependent children or spouses of persons who were killed
or are permanently disabled as a direct result of the terrorist
attacks in the United States on Tuesday, September 11, 2001. Applicants
may be currently enrolled or planning to enroll in a course of study
at an accredited two-year or four-year college, university, or vocational-technical
school in the United States. Scholarships will be offered to applicants
who demonstrate financial need, and may be used for undergraduate

The Fashion Group Foundation of Washington DC will award several scholarships to high school and college students who primary residence is in the Washington, DC area or all cities and counties of the states of Maryland or Virginia, to students pursuing a career in fashion or related area. Third Bank, Marathan Ashland Petroleum and Key Bank Minority Internship/Scholarship
Programs, and the Deloitte & Touche Scholarship Program
Fifth Third Bank, Marathon Ashland Petroleum and Key Bank are
now accepting applications for their minority scholarship programs
for the academic year. The deadline for all three applications
in February 28. The Deloitte & Touche Scholarship Program
is available to students majoring in accounting who intend to take
the required amount of courses to sit for the CPA exam. The deadline
for this scholarship is also February 28. Applications and

Ford Foundation Fellowships
for Minorities are approximately 60 pre doctoral, 40 dissertation
and 30 postdoctoral fellowships sponsored by the Ford Foundation
and administered by the National Research Council. To apply you
must be a U.S. citizen or national, planning a career in teaching
and research at the college or university level. Pre doctoral-$16,000
to the fellow, institutional allowance of $7,500 for three years.
Dissertation-$21,000 for one year. Postdoctoral-$34,000 for one
year, $3,000 travel and relocation allowance, $2,000 cost-of-research
allowance, $2,500 employing institution allowance, to be matched

Garden Club Forum of the Toledo District
Scholarship annually awards two or more scholarships to
students from Toledo and surrounding areas interested in continuing
their studies in the areas of Horticulture, Floriculture, Conservation,
Forestry, and Environmental Sciences or related subjects. Applications

Geauga County Retired
Teachers Association The Geauga County Retired Teachers
Association is offering a $1000 grant-in-aid to a deserving student
who will be a college senior in the College of Education during
the 2006-2007 school year. The student must have lived in and graduated

Gerald A. Morris Memorial College
Scholarship through the Butler Soil and Water Conservation
District is offering a non-renewable $500 college scholarship to
students enrolling in classes which focus on the conservation of
natural resources. Applicants must have a parent or guardian who
resides in Butler County. Applicants must have a minimum 2.5 GPA

Memorial Fellowship Foundation The foundation seeks applicants
committed to a career in teaching American History, American Government,
or Social Studies at the secondary level. Two types of fellowships
are offered: Junior Fellowships, awarded to undergraduates or recent

school full time, and Senior Fellowships awarded to experienced
teachers who want to pursue graduate studies through summer and

John Gyles Education Fund
This fund is a private, benevolent endeavor established ten years
ago with the help of a Canadian/American benefactor. Each year,

Wooster is now accepting applications for our annual scholarships
to help non-traditional women students who are in need of financial

Scholarship Applicants for this $1,000 scholarship must

Lake Erie Section of the Institute
of Food Technologists has a few small scholarships (about
$1,000 each) available for qualified students in the academic year.
The recipient must be at least a junior or a graduate student
majoring in Food Science, Human Nutrition, Food Microbiology, Food
Chemistry, or Food Engineering with the intent to work within the
food industry. Additionally an undergraduate must have completed

of United Latin American Citizens (LULAC) is the largest,
oldest and most successful Hispanic civil rights and service oriented
organization in the United States. The organization has developed

The National Federation of Republican Women Dorothy Andrews Kabis Internship Program is named after former NFRW President Dorothy Andrews Kabis who served from 1963 -1967 and was later appointed Treasurer of the United States by President Richard Nixon. Each year, the program offers three young women the opportunity to spend six weeks in our nation's capitol working in the headquarters of the country's foremost women's partisan political organization. Applicants must be in their junior year of college or college students age 21 and over, having completed high school but not yet graduated from college. Applicants should have a general knowledge of government and a keen interest in Republican politics, including campaign experience and clerical office skills adaptable to a busy office. National Italian American Foundation
Scholarship has an education budget of $1,000. They will
award scholarships and grants to outstanding students in the summer
for use during the following academic year. These are for undergrads,
graduates and doctorate programs. The awards will be made on the
basis of academic merit and divided between two groups of students.
Category I: Italian American students who demonstrate outstanding
potential and high academic achievements. Area of study is open.
Category II: Those students from any ethnic background majoring
or minoring in Italian language, Italian studied, Italian American
studies or a related field, who demonstrate outstanding potential
and high academic achievements. Scholarships awards range from
$2,000-$5,000. Applications are available only on their website

National Physical Science Consortium - If you aspire to a doctoral degree and a career in the physical sciences and related fields, you are a potential National Physical Science Consortium. Students may apply starting in late August; the process closes in early November (see www.npsc.org for exact dates). The Fellowship covers tuition and fees and provides a generous annual stipend. Students in the six-year program intern for two summers with their sponsor, who provides a salary and covers travel expenses. For students who receive six years of support, the total value of the Fellowship well exceeds $200,000.

The Navy Baccalaureate
Degree Completion Program (BDCP) provides qualified students
who meet the Navys physical requirements with up to $54,000 to
complete their education. The money is sent directly to the student

Collegiate Program (HSCP) is a program that provides students
with up to $42,000 to cover college costs, living expenses or spend

International Association of Administrative Professionals is rewarding
two $750 scholarships in the 2002-2003 school year. The applicant

or technical/vocational school for the purposes of pursuing an administrative

& Company Accounting Scholarships is offering two
$1,500 scholarships for the academic year. These scholarships are
open to fourth and fifth year students with Accounting majors, and
are intended to assist the students in meeting the 150-hour requirement

Public Relations Society
of America Scholarships (Akron Area Chapter) the purpose
of this scholarship is to encourage the study and career development
of students enrolled in an accredited communications, journalism
or public relations program at a college or university. Residents
and students of chapter service area (Summit, Stark,Portage,Wayne,
Medina, Mahoning, Columbiana, Jefferson, Richland and Ashland counties.
The PRSA is awarded once a year in the amount of $1,000. Applications

Richland County Foundation
is offering college scholarships to undergraduate students from
Richland County. This is a need-based college scholarship program
has three eligibility requirements: (1). Applicant must be a permanent
resident of Richland County; (2). Applicant will or does attend
an accredited undergraduate school full-time for the academic year;
and (3). Applicant must have a 2.5 GPA (if a new applicant) or

Soroptimist - Soroptimist International of Northeast Suburban Franklin County Ohio is offering a $500 Women's Opportunity Award to a woman who is seeking to improve her economic status by gaining additional skills, training or education. This program was designed to provide assistance to women who provide the primary financial support for their families and who are motivated to increase their educaiton or training but do not have the resources to do so. Stark County Retired
Teachers Association is offering six $1000 scholarships to
be given to college students who will be juniors or seniors in the
field of Education this fall and who have graduated from a high
school within Stark County. This is a yearly scholarship and new
packets are sent the beginning of March of each year. Applications

Spencer Foundation Dissertation
Fellowship for Research Related to Education- some 30
Fellowships of $20,000 are awarded each year to support doctoral
candidates in a variety of fields whose dissertations promise to
contribute fresh perspectives to the history, theory, or practice
of education. Phone or mail requests for application materials must

Talbots Womens Scholarship Fund-Applicants
must be women currently residing in the U.S., have earned a high
school diploma or GED at least 10 years ago (no later than September

Thomas J. Seefred Trust Fund - This is a perpetual fund that will award scholarships in the amount of $3,000 each to college students between 18 - 25 years old who are suffering from Juvenile Diabetes. Preference will be given to qualified applications from Trumbull, Mahoning, and Columbiana Counties in Ohio. All scholarships will be awarded by the Trust and will be based on academic promise, personal satement, recommendations, and financial need.
