Important Information for Undergraduate Parents

parent We believe that the quality of the educational programs at Ashland University is excellent and an AU education is a sound investment in a students future. We are committed to making an AU education available to as many students as possible through scholarships, grants, low-interest loans and student employment.

The Financial Aid Office will update this page with important financial aid information that you and your student should know. We encourage you to check it periodically throughout the year.

We are here to help you and your student! Your student has been assigned a Financial Aid Counselor to help him/her through the financial aid process and answer any questions you may have. Meet the Staff lists your counselors name, phone extension and email address. Please contact them directly when you need help.

Financial Aid Timeline Check the Timeline for deadlines and processes that must be completed in order for your students account to be settled by move-in day avoiding long lines that day!

AU Email Remind your student to check his/her AU email account regularly. AU email is used by most departments and faculty to contact students and provide class information. And most importantly, the Financial Aid Office notifies students by AU email only when their financial aid award is revised and all returning students are notified by AU email only when their financial aid award is available each year.

Next Steps on the AU Financial Aid website is a very important link! Click on Undergraduate in the Next Steps box and you will find everything your student needs to do after reviewing his award on WebAdvisor. There are additional processes that your student should complete by August 1 so that the students account is settled and your student is able to move in as scheduled.
