Course Description:

The main objectives of this 2-day seminar, “Positive Approaches to Help Students Succeed,” (K-12) are understanding specific behaviors of challenging children/adolescents, learning strategies to improve academic and social behaviors (positive decision-making, goal-setting, etc.), utilizing corrective techniques to decrease negative behaviors, understanding the characteristics of ADD/ASHD students, and intervention and parental strategies for the ADD/ADHD student.

This seminar will give teachers techniques that will help with disruptive students and intervention and parental strategies for the ADD/ADHD student.
