SERVICE LRNG LDRSHP SEM 1
Partnerships Make A Difference has received a grant from the Martha Holden Jennings Foundation, as well as support from the AEP Foundation and Upper Arlington Schools, to help expand the base of trained service-learning/project based learning practitioners in schools that belong to our "Growing Together" Service-Learning Network and other schools throughout central Ohio. As a result, we are offering the 2014 "Growing Together" Service-Learning Leadership Seminar: Level l graduate course, which is designed to strategically promote excellent teaching, featuring authentic, project based learning strategies that directly align with common core standards.
The SL Leadership Seminar will meet 9:00 to 3:30 p.m, on June 9 & 10, 2014. Three follow-up sessions will be scheduled in October, November and one in December (4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., dates to TBD by class participants at the June session) to ensure project continuity, monitoring, and support. All sessions will be held at Hastings Middle School, 1850 Hastings Lane, Upper Arlington, 43220, in the school library. Please contact Kathy Meyer at email@example.com with any questions.
This class is offered for two or three semester hours of Ashland credit. Registration for college credit will be offered during the meeting times of the class.
