Course Description:

The main objectives of this online seminar,"Helping Students Who Are Not Motivated," (K-12) are research based factors why studertn are unmotivated, examining five key processes that motivate: emphasizing efforts, creating hope, respecting power, building relationships, and expressing enthusiasm, practical strategies to engage students in learning core standards, helping students feel valued, character building, and positive choices (healthy relationships, goal setting, etc.), tips for parents to help motivate their children/adolescents.
