Course Description:

This workshop will develop background knowledge, motivation, and concrete strategies  for educators to improve  student achievement in today's diverse  classrooms. By understanding children living in poverty through educational research, educators  will be better equipped  to support  the individual student's needs. Explore creative activities that help to motivate students while increasing  achievement. The goal of this class is to recharge teachers  by providing concrete, usable ideas that wake up even the most challenging students.
