UNDERSTANDING CLASSROOM MANGEMENT

Topic: Behavior Management/Social Skills
Instructor: Michael McCann
Method: Face to Face (WRK)
Sponsor: AU Columbus Center
Location: CPD

Course Description:

Many classroom teachers/administrators have very little basis for how their classroom management was developed or functions.  "I have always done it this way" is a common response to what their classroom  strategies are. This course will help to rectify this lack of a solid plan. Participants will review multiple researched based classroom management theories and selecting the best parts develop a personal plan.  This plan can be shared with administrators, teaches, and parents as part of your classroom instructional plan.  This course will strengthen your position on what you do in the classroom and protect you from possible issues with parents. For more information please contact Michael McCann at mmccann@ashland.edu
