|Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder in children and adolescents is one of the most controversial and frustrating problems facing families and school personnel today. This class will explore recent research regarding etiology, the biochemical and biological components of ADHD, risk factors and concurrent mental health concerns. Through lectures, handouts and experiential exercises, students will learn to fully understand the ADHD child and adolescent's unique frustrations, limitations and strengths.
