Eugene P. Linton Ph.D.
Gene comes to Ashland University as the Director of Professional Development Services after 36 years of experience as a teacher, coach, principal and superintendent in K-12 administration.
Gene holds a bachelor’s degree from Kent State University in Elementary and Special Education. He completed his master and doctorate programs at Bowling Green State University. Over the years he has been an adjunct instructor in Education Administration programs for Ashland University, Bowling Green State University, Wright State University and the University of Dayton.
Gene and his wife Michelle reside in Wooster. They are parents of three adult age children. Two of which live and work in the Columbus Ohio area, and the third currently lives and works in Huntington Beach, California area. Michelle is the director of a handicapped preschool program in Holmes County.
