We teach IT. In the mid 1980’s when others wondered what a local area network was or why they needed one, we were among the first to offer training and have since continuously. LAN, WAN and related technologies are our specialty. Partnering with industry leaders, we educate and serve. And, apparently we are very good at what we do. As organizations like ours come and go, we strengthen our long standing client relationships as we increasingly welcome new ones. Located at the head of the Ohio River in Downtown Pittsburgh, PA, Riverhead Training, Inc. offers courses designed to facilitate your IT education and your learning style.
Training modalities include instructor led, remote classroom instruction, and online learning. Our business model is very straight forward and unique, as well. We are unique in that our founders began their careers as educators and remain educators. Our principal officers spend significant time in the classroom and keep current on the latest computer and educational technologies and course offerings. We devote time to developing and improving courseware and instruction and new teaching methodologies that work. We really do love computer technologies and teaching them.
Our expertise has expanded to include advanced network security and disaster recovery planning and the latest developer languages including .NET, Java and JavaScript. What’s more, RiverHead has recently augmented our technical offerings with an new Service Management concentration including ITIL, Business Analysis and Project Management.
Our education consultants are IT learning specialists who can guide you through the learning plan and course selection process. Time ,care and expertise are applied to see that you are in the right course at the right time using the learning modality right for you. If certification is what you’re looking for, our staff is well versed on the latest offerings from all of our vendors. The appropriate course selection will be made for you whether your training needs are one course or a complex plan involving many courses and many months.
We are a Microsoft Gold Certified Partner for Learning Solutions, and a Platinum Novell Authorized Education, a Linux Training Center of Excellence, and a Citrix Authorized Learning Center. In addition we are partnered with Sunset Learning to bring you authorized Cisco training and Babbage Simmel to provide you with Project Management training approved by the Project Management Institute and eligible for Professional Development Units. RiverHead offers best of breed Red Hat, Oracle and Java training.
