Graduate Writing Consultation

Improve your writing at the graduate level

Graduate Writing Consultation (GWC) is a resource to help graduate students enhance their writing in a number of different ways.  Services include helping graduate students reacquaint themselves with the academic style of writing and assisting them as they develop their skills for this level of written communication. Although the Graduate Writing Consultation service does not provide proofreading or editing for student papers, the writing consultant will suggest improvements ranging from structure and content to grammar and punctuation.

Graduate writing consultation is available to all students enrolled in the following Ashland University graduate programs, regardless of location:

• Master of Business Administration
• Master of Education
• Bachelor Plus (course levels 500 and above)
• Master of American History and Government
• Master of Educational Administration
• Master of Fine Arts
• Doctor of Education
