July 27-August 10, 2013
Ashland University is now offering week-long post-MFA workshops in poetry or nonfiction as part of its annual summer residency. The workshops are open to writers who have completed an MFA in creative writing.
Join the writing community in Ashland, Ohio for a week of workshops, seminars, and readings by acclaimed visiting writers and faculty affiliated with the Ashland University MFA Program. Post-MFA participants will take part in daily three-hour morning workshops. Each workshop will include 5-7 writers and will be taught by an Ashland MFA faculty member. Participants are invited to share in community meals. On-campus housing is available, though priority will be given to students registered in the MFA program.
Participants may register for the first week, the second week, or both weeks.
One workshop in poetry and one in creative nonfiction will be open each week. The program reserves the right to cancel workshops with low enrollment.
