Assistant Professor of Cell Biology and Microbiology

Assistant Professor (Cell Biology and Microbiology): The Department of Biology/Toxicology at Ashland University (www.ashland.edu) seeks to fill a tenure track position at the Assistant Professor rank to begin August of 2013. A Ph.D. degree in a relevant area, experience in undergraduate teaching as well as a research program suitable for undergraduate involvement are required. Applicants should be prepared to teach cell biology and immunology to upper level undergraduate science majors as well as microbiology to science majors and nursing majors. Ability to teach epidemiology is preferred. Research area should complement the Department’s programs in toxicology, forensic science, environmental science and/or biotechnology. Post-doctoral research experience is preferred.
